How to Play Solitaire Klondike
Solitaire Klondike is the classic solitaire card game everyone knows. The goal: build all four foundations from Ace to King, each foundation holding one suit. You have seven tableau piles with alternating red and black cards, a stock pile to draw from, and four foundation slots to fill.
Drag cards to arrange them in descending order with alternating colors on the tableau. Move completed sequences to foundations. Draw from the stock when you're stuck. Clear the board to win.
Solitaire Tips
- Always play from the stock first: Before moving cards between tableau piles, see what the stock reveals — it might change your strategy
- Empty columns are gold: An empty tableau column can only be filled by a King — create empty columns strategically
- Uncover face-down cards ASAP: Prioritize moves that reveal hidden tableau cards — they unlock more options
- Don't rush to fill foundations: Sometimes keeping cards on the tableau gives you more flexibility for sequencing
